The DeLonghi Lattissima EN720.M is a commercial-grade single-serve espresso maker designed for Nespresso espresso capsules. Like previous-generation models (e.g., the EN670.B), the EN720.M espresso machine offers one-touch beverage making via inexpensive Nespresso pods. However, the DeLonghi EN720.M allows for greater customization, in that users can vary the quantity of milk and coffee for each drink made. Plus there's a removable tank for collecting used capsules. More importantly, DeLonghi has incorporated a Thermoblock heating element to deal with the biggest complaint faced by previous models: milk that doesn’t come out warm enough. Other features have been inherited, including an adjustable tray for dealing with different cup sizes, a detachable and automatic milk frothing system, and a 40-ounce tank.

The Krups XP5280 is a professional-grade espresso machine designed for casual consumers and business professionals seeking a clean, high-end, and effective solution. In all respects, it’s basically a smaller and less featured version of the XP5240. It still uses the same Krups Precise Temp system for compressing coffee grounds based on the user’s chosen configuration, but it hosts a lower wattage thermoblock with a 15 bar pump, Krups' legacy steam nozzle (known for many problems), and there is no pressured portafilter. Regardless, the unit does offer a easy-cleaning frothing nozzle and a die-cast construction. There are very few actual user reviews pertaining to the Krups XP5280, but like its superior, they have been mixed.

The Gaggia Espresso Pure model is a low-end semi-automatic Espresso machine. It is worthy of noting that the Espresso Pure machine is nearly identical to the Espresso Color, and Espresso Dose machines; the only difference being the color of the exterior finish. The machine is more specifically designed for personal consumer use, meaning more home-based appliance but that is not to say however that the device can't be used commercially for a small business. The body design is composed of a durable ABS plastic; the exterior is then topped off with a professional finish that is only available in a professional red finish. The Espresso Pure device can brew Cappucinos, lattes, and tea; and also includes support for an optional milk island accessory. A special built-in Pannarello steam wand provides superior milk frothing for certain required beverages (thick cappucinos and lattes) and also provides hot water for cocoa, tea or soup.

The Gaggia Espresso Pure model includes additional features such as a high powered 15 bar pump pressure, a chrome plated brass portafilter and brew group for temperature stability, a fully detachable 1.25 liter (42 ounce or 5-1/4 cups) water tank which allows easier cleaning and fill-up methods, a heated cup warmer, and support to brew and prepare two beverages at once. It is very similar to Gaggia's class D model with a few less features at a lower price point. Its simplistic controls allow easy use of the many features and covers all basic brewing needs.

The New Baby Dose by Gaggia features a dosing button, similar to the Class D model but lacks the automatic setting. The New Baby Dose allows the user to set the exact amount a cup holds for the perfect mix every time. The Saeco Odea Go Eclipse is a mid-cost espresso machine. In promotion, Saeco emphasizes the ease of use of this espresso machine, which is due to the Giro interface. This interface consists of a simple rotary knob with buttons. You need only turn the knob left or right, press a button, and your coffee is started. To make sure your coffee's flavor is not altered in the grinding process, this espresso machine is equipped with a ceramic grinder. Once your coffee is finished, the Pannarello allows you to easily froth milk to top it off with. It features a larger 1.3-liter removable water tank, but is in every other way practically duplicate, save for the improved aesthetics. Featured are many of the same components, including a stainless steel boiler, a self-priming operation, and a dual function filter holder that can accommodate a Sempre Crema Filter and an ESE Filter. There’s also a Cappuccino System Frother chamber that mixes steam and milk to manufacture a cream. Notable benefits to the DeLonghi EC702 include support for different filters (single shot, double shot) and pods. The system does have a reputation for being extremely loud and, like its predecessor, sometimes leaky.

Though durable, compact, and integrated, the EN670.B espresso machine has some problems: the milk doesn’t come out warm enough, and the frother must be meticulously cleaned, lest it become clogged.

The Saeco Incanto Classic is a household coffee machine that is programmable for water hardness, pre-brewing and cleaning. It has a five push green backlit button control panel above a 4 light row. Each button has an image that shows its function, for example a full cup for regular coffee, a partially filled cup for small coffee, a spoon and grounds for pre-ground coffee selector, drops of water for hot water, and flecks moving through a pipe for the descaling option. The cup volume is customizable by pressing and holing the button that represents the type of coffee desired. Once the desired volume has been reached the consumer just has to release the button. The Breville Café Roma ESP8XL is a an espresso/cappuccino machine with stainless steel housing, 15 bar Italian Thermoblock pump and an "Advanced crema system". It is very simple to use with just one switch and three position master control. It heats quickly and is ready to use in a couple of minutes.

The top of the machine acts as a cup warming plate. The newly re-designed "Froth enhancer" does what it says - provides dry steam from start up (no need to drain water from the pipe before you start frothing) and will easily produce twice the volume of foam from 2% milk, so do not fill the jug more than 1/3 full to start.

The removable 1.2 liter water tank sits neatly at the back: it is easy to refill from a filter jug (the use of filtered water will delay the need to descale later).

Bonus stainless steel espresso cup set and frothing jug. It also comes with a measuring spoon/tamper/wrench. It has two filter sizes (one and two cup) as well as a pod holder. Also included is a small tool with two sharp points to deal with plugs in flietrs and the frother. The wrench is needed to remove the frother for weekly cleaning.
