The Evercool Xfan 360 TG-XB1 is an external cooler designed for the Xbox 360. It is designed to be clipped on the back on the 360 console, and two 60 mm fans force air through the rear exhaust grill to help cool the most notorious overheating gaming console. The fans help the existing exhaust fans by expelling air, thus creating a greater negative case pressure that passively draws more new cool air in. The unit is USB powered, and can connected to the rear USB port. Each fan is made of clear plastic and features 4 green LED fans illuminating the area with a green glow.

Criticism
The Xfan 360 has been criticized because that it continues to draw power and operate even when the Xbox 360 is powered down. Evercool has marketed this as a feature, where the Xfan continues to cool the Xbox 360 even when powered down. The disadvantages of this design feature is that 1) more dust will accumulate in your Xbox 360 than if powered down, 2) the lifetime of the fans will be reduced, and 3) the 25 dB of noise that is produced by the unit. Evercool has recommended that you unplug the Xfan 360 when not in use.
