Pros
- Good gOS user interface
- Decent specifications
- Doesn't get too hot
- Great price
- useful for surfing and checking email
- can be switched to XP; works MUCH better
Cons
- Lacks RAM
- Poor video card
- Poor tech support
- Poor battery life
- No memory card slot
- Tons of pre-installed software that may not be needed by the user
- Slow startup
- Average users may have difficulty using a non-Windows OS
- Little online documentation on the manufacturer's site
- Extremely slow connecting to the Internet or downloading anything
- not worth saving money for this
- the gOS included system is too gimicky and a standard Linux distro such as Ubuntu, opensuse, or Debian would be better
- Extraordinarily bad customer service.
- A lot of reported defects; need to ship back to manufacturer.
- no backup disk, no documentation, and no way to update the bios or video drivers
- OS is neither intuitive nor user friendly
