New pro/con: 60Hz. This is still the norm, but now that they have 120Hz and 240Hz, it requires an upgrade.
New pro/con: Looks at least as good as many much higher priced competitors.
New pro/con: Stylish black and grey exterior.
New pro/con: Only 1 HDMI port. This was probably the norm when it was built, but now it seems lacking.
New pro/con: Built specifically as a monitor -- no HD tuner built in. No tuner at all actually (not that it matters if you're running cable/satellite/DVD/Blu-ray)
New pro/con: Wonderful monitor for gaming, content creation, etc., etc., etc.
New pro/con: Matte finish for non-glare
New pro/con: Contrast ratio (1000:1) is very noticeable in very dark movie scenes
New pro/con: Remote with quick-buttons for PIP and video modes
New pro/con: Solid (not tinny) sound
New pro/con: 1080p
New pro/con: Port quantity (dvi, hdmi, component, composite, digital audio, etc.)
New pro/con: Easily navigable menu
New pro/con: Very Bright at highest settings
New pro/con: Great price ($1100 when I bought it)
