New pro/con: You cant add nice 3D effects or themes to your system unless you have a GOOD graphics card
New pro/con: Installing and configuring hardware is extremely easy
New pro/con: Comes as a Live-CD so you know what it looks like once its installed.
New pro/con: Very light weight
New pro/con: Open-Source version of SuSE

"Having the ability to check/send email at anytime is a great thing to have. Sure the blackberry can do that, but its keys are too small and cramped together. Once you play around with the software keyboard on the iPhone, you can type incredibly fast. Also, the amount of 3rd party programs available is unreal. iFlickr, more

"From experience, ubutnu is very easy to install and use. the menus are very intuitive which helps a person new to linux navigate through their system. the only cons i would have with this operatins sytem is their software package installer (when i try to install plug ins for mozilla, they would not work, i guess more
