The Eye-Fi Connect X2 is one of three 802.11N SDHC cards (Connect, Explore, Pro) released in March 2010. As the base unit, the Connect X2 can connect to a user's at-home WiFi network at Draft N wireless speeds, after which it can automatically upload JPEGs and videos to sites like Flickr, Facebook, and Youtube.

Plus it includes 4GB of storage space, which can be used to store up to 2000 photos or 90mn of video. Additional features include compatibility with sixteen camera brands (see below); notifications via email, facebook, or twitter; and photo organization based on dates.
