"Open your Eyes" has a timely reference to Sufjan Stevens (pronounced Suf-yan). "Chasing Cars" is well composed and emotional, but after a couple of listens, I find most of the album fades into obscurity, as was the case with Final Straw. Snow Patrol is a band that I keep wanting to do more of what they do right and less of what they do wrong. Know what I mean?

I totally know what you mean. At some points it seems like they're truly inspired, but at others I find myself just wishing the song was over.

I actually love this album. My favorite song is Set the Fire to the Third Bar. It pulls at my heart...
