Faceted Curtain

Window curtain that folds up into a geometric shape because of triangular folds on its surface. In letting in more light, the 2D surface of the curtain becomes a 3D shape - like a flower blooming.

The triangles fold in on themselves as the curtains are drawn either horizontally or vertically. The curtain itself can be collapsed into a very compact ball in the corner of your window so that it is almost completely removed from the view.

Details

To draw the curtains you simply pull on a cord that causes the curtain to fold in itself into the corner. A weight helps unfold the curtain when the cord is unfastened.

Very nice. I like geometric patterns applied to concepts like this. The faceted folding is both an aesthetic and functional aspect.
