The Cobra Baffler Rail Fairway is a fairwood wood released by Cobra Golf and is part of the Baffler franchise of clubs.

The Cobra Baffler Rail Fairway wood has a 17-4 steel clubhead that has a thin, high-strength clubface designed to increase player's ball speed as well as increase overall distance. The Baffler Rail Fairway features a premium, high-performance Fujikura Motore shaft for optimum distance and control. The steel face also takes advantages of 9-Point Face Technology which aims to improve overall ball control.

The Cobra Baffler Rail Fairway woods come in lofts of 15.5° (3-wood), 18° (5-wood) and 20° (7-wood), with a Fujikura Motore graphite shaft standard. Both the 3-wood and 5-wood are available in both left and right-handed options while the 7-wood is only available for right-handed players.

The TaylorMade R9 Fairway Woods is a golf club wood geared towards all player types with its ability to change the face angle, loft, and lie. The unit’s Flight Control Technology (FCT) lets users change settings to promote up to 36 yards of trajectory change. Plus the R9’s High Inertia Tip (HIT) technology promotes faster ball speed, while the advanced sole design is more rounded and beveled to increase playability. Note that the unit retails in two models: R9 and R9 TP. The TaylorMade Burner Steel is a performance fairway that provides mid to high launch with mid spin. The fairway features SuperFast technology which utilizes a light shaft and grip to promote a faster swing speed for more distance. It also features a steel pull-face construction which gives it a higher COR for increased ball speed and distance. The Burner Steel is designed with a large steel clubhead which, according to TaylorMade, gives it the highest MOI out of any fairway wood on the market to make it very forgiving. The Nike SQ Dymo Fairway wood is a high-end set of drivers designed to put an emphasis on optimized ball flight and maximum travel distance. The Dymo features a quad keel sole; with four separate quadrants on the sole which allows the club to have a limited connection with the turf during ball contact. This limited connection allows golfers to get the ball in the air much easier from any lie on the course.

Through the use of Nike PowerBow technology the weight within each driver is distributed so that each club has a correctly established center of gravity. This allows each loft to adjust what it needs to be; "forward and higher in low lofts for penetrating trajectory with less spin, or deep and low in higher lofts for increased spin rates which makes it easier to get the ball airborne." The Nike SQ Dymo Fairway shaft is designed out of lightweight AXIV core material that weighs between 45 and 55 grams. Each club in the set is available in X, S, R, A or W models; and each can have a custom shaft made from Aldila, Fujiku RA, Grafalloy, Graphite, Mitsubishi Rayon, or UST materials.

Each of the Nike SQ Dymo drivers are specifically engineered to optimize ball launch and spin through loft. Nike claims that "performance is maximized in every loft by varying multiple specifications from lie angle, from MOI and CG placement, to overall head size and face depth." The SQ Dymo drivers feature both square and round geometry; square club placements can be used for a straight and long launch with optimal sound and launch by loft while round placements can be used for more control. SQ Dymo clubs also include special grips designed to increase maximum grip and feel on each club; and the lightweight but wide body UST shaft ensures a stable and powerful strike on each ball.

The Ping G10 is a high-end fairway wood that is designed to lower a users total golf score by producing longer drives translating into more time spent on the fairway instead of the rough. The Ping G10 was praised for performance and function by "Golf Digest" Hot List editors. The G10 features a shallow face with a longer heel to toe which ensures a much larger hitting area and allows added forgiveness.
