I'm 5'11" with a 35" inseam flat footed so I'm also always looking for long jeans and trousers. I've got a pair of Citizens of Humanity trouser style jeans that work with 3" heels. Someone recommended 7's to me but I can only wear them with flat shoes - definitely don't put them in the dryer! I'm currently on the lookout for the perfect pair of Rock & Republics as they seem to be very long and slim but the inventory at each store I go to is quite limited. If you've got a slim waist, you might try Zara for trousers. I've also got narrow shoulders and suits from Zara fit me like a glove.

Hmmm....I'd definitely like to try citizens of humanity pants then!
I just came back from New York and bought a pair of jeans from Adriano Goldschmied. They come in regular and long. The regulars are about 33" and the Longs are 35". I bought "The Club" style and I really like them. They are made for more curvy girls so they fit me very well in butt and hips. No gapping in the back or anything! Usually I need to get my jeans taken in in the back because I need to buy a size big enough to fit my thighs and hips so they're usually too big in the waist but this style fits well everywhere.
Zara is good for length. I've bought pants there before. However, sometimes they don't always fit me so well in other places. Also, I sometimes find their clothes don't wear that well. I really like a lot of their stuff but I don't find they're made all that well, unfortunately.

I have the exact same problem with the length of jeans. I can wear a 34 inseam but it falls right at the top of my foot which is not long enough. If I want them to drape over heels, I need at least a 36 length. Gap now has a tall line of clothing in x-long that is 36 length. If you don't want jeans or dress pants, they have khakis and other casual slacks. Their selection is slim for the time being but it's an option. I also tend to look for pants with either a cuff or a wide hem so that I can have them altered to fit. I'm sure you tall gals out there know about that ! :) God Bless!

Blue London, it's the brand sold by Victoria's Secret. Most of their stretch Jeans can be ordered with 36 inch inseams. They also fit like a dream and aren't as expensive as most of the designer jeans. Although if you are looking for designer jeans, Seven For All Mankind are great and they do alot for your figure.

I have long legs, and very slim hips. I find that it's very difficult to find jeans that fit me, but Jean Machine usually has some good choices. Most of the best jeans, however, that I have bought are either Mavi, for cords, and non-denim materials, or Seven Jeans, for the usual denim. Most places, though, such as American Eagle, the Gap, Old Navy, and even Urban Outfitters, don't have pants that are long enough, or slim enough.
