"This bed was originally designed by Philipp Mainzer for (e15) a German furniture and architectural design firm known for modern solid wood furniture. The original bed is called SL02 MO, it is made in solid oak, and can be seen on e15.com. I am very sad and angry that IKEA has copied the design of this bed, knowing full well that e15 is too small to fight it. This bed is probably their best selling bed...i have lost alot of respect for IKEA, because they pride themselves for originality and credit their designers. In this case, they are laughing all the way to the bank copying work without paying any fees for using the design, while e15 works hard to make it to the next level. " more
