The Guide Tennie by Five Ten is one of the footwear manufacturer's staple products. Appearing in various incarnations under various names, the Guide Tennie is the entrance for 2007 and features various changes. The shoe continues the low profile nature of the hiking shoe, with the upper portion of the shoe manufactured out reinforced leather. Five Ten's Stealth Rubber fills out the sole aiming for increased traction on naturally smooth surfaces. Other design notes from Five Ten are ankle to toe lacing for a tighter fit, and technical toe rand for better climbing.
