Forum Recon

$289.99 Released December, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Versatile riding all over the mountain, including off piste and in the park. Off piste riding is smooth and stable. Body is flexible enough to work quick angles and tricks in the park.

The Cons:Not a lot of pop due to lack of stiffness. Difficult to hold an edge at speed.

The Forum Recon is a mid-cost freestyle snowboard. The camber profile of this snowboard provides a feel that is both lively and aggressive. The camber design also promotes precise control. The twin-like shape of this board encourages freestyle boarding, with a stiff core profile in the tail (which helps to give you power at high speeds).

Product Shot 2 The laminated poplar core of the Recon is also conducive to freesyling, as it is light, flexible, and forgiving. This core also offers lots of pop. The Biax laminates of the Recon are constructed with strands that criss-cross at a 90-degree angle, which to make this board ride smoothly. The FreeBase of this board consists of a slick material that is easy to wax. This makes for a speedy ride. There are size options available for the Forum Recon freeride snowboard.
