Friday Night Lights has been one of the most underwatched yet highly acclaimed show of recent times. The show centers around a small Texas town that is obsessed with football. Highschool football dictates the lives of many people in the town, not to mention the lives of the highschoolers themselves. Although non-football fans might shy away from a show that has the sport as its focus, the show is poignant and though-provoking and appeals to many types of fans, including people who don't know the first thing about a touchdown.
