Weighing at 154 pounds, the SM21L30 is a lighter and more powerful counterpart to the somewhat heavy SM18L30A in that it outputs an improved 20,600 BTU (versus 17,500). Likes it peer, the SM21L30 features unique ComfortWatch technology that works to maintain a more even temperature by monitoring and anticipating fluctuations in room temperature. Plus, the SM21L30 boasts a mosquito trap, Entrygard protection that secure the chassis to the sleeve, and a 24-hour timer that lets the user program on/off times while also backing-up the settings in case of a power interruption. The SM21L30 also includes fresh-air intake & stale-air exhaust valves, an easy-to-clean antimicrobial filter for protection against bacterial growth, 8-way air flow control, and a remote control for convenient/simplified adjustments to the unit from a distance.
