I have had this camera since it originally came out, it is a wonderful camera if you don't want all the bells and whistles. As the camera has aged over the past 5 years the camera has become more susceptible to errors and turning off on it's own. I can honestly say that I would purchase another one if I could, even though there are cameras with higher resolution.
