The Fujifilm FinePix F50fd, follow-up to the popular F31fd, delivers 12 megapixel resolution and low-light (high ISO) performance that many reviewers claim outshines the competition. The facial recognition software is designed to recognize faces at virually any angle. While there is no full manual control available over exposure settings, the F50fd does offer shutter- and aperture-priority modes to allow users some degree of command over image settings. The included scene modes mean that those who don't want to fuss with specific settings can still get the camera to use ones that are appropriate to the situation.
