Fujifilm FinePix S1500

The Fujifilm FinePix S1500 is an SLR-styled digital camera released in March of 2009 for advanced amateur photographers. A jump up from the FinePix J models, the Fujifilm FinePix S1500 offers a 2.7” LCD alongside a 12x optical zoom Fujinon lens with a 10 megapixels resolution. The most notable advancement is the S1500’s inclusion of high performance functions such as Tracking Auto Focus and Panorama Shooting. The TAF tracks the subject automatically so long as the shutter is half pressed, whereas the Panorama Shooting Mode captures and combines 3 consecutive shots that are then stored into memory as a single panoramic image. In addition, the S1500 utilizes both high sensitivity and CCD Shift Image Stabilization to eliminate blurred photos by freezing action and minimizing the effects of a shaking camera. Like its predecessors, the S1500 also includes 640x480 movie recording, SR Auto & Face Detection, and over 15 versatile shooting modes. Available in black, the Fujifilm FinePix S1500 retails for $249.99 and comes with a 1 year limited warranty.
