The Fujifilm FinePix S2800HD / S2900HD is a high definition point-and-shoot camera. Aimed at enthusiasts looking for a lower cost high definition solution, the 14 megapixel sensor is capable of taking shots in resolutions of up to 4288 x 3216, and record video in high definition 720p.

Wide-angle 28mm shots are also possible, and optical zooming of up to 18x is supported. An intelligent flash detects when it is needed and activates automatically. CCD Shift Image Stabilization allows for some basic resistance to blur due to accidental movements of the camera. SD and SDHC memory cards can be used for storage, and files can be directly moved from them or a USB connection can be used to copy files. An HDMI Mini connector port is also available, allowing the camera to connect to any HDMI enabled display and show video and pictures in HD.
