The Garmin Nuvi 255 is a portable GPS navigator that provides voice prompted directions including street names. It comes preloaded with millions of destinations in North America and Europe via City Navigator NT street maps and supports optional MSN Direct. You can upload custom points of interest (POI's) but it already contains a large POI database and has a touchscreen which shows 2-D and 3-D digital elevation maps. Also included are HotFix satellite prediction and emergency locator, photo navigation enabling the download of Google Panoramio pictures via the Garmin Connect Photos website and a MicroSD card slot. Other features include a JPEG picture viewer, world travel clock, currency converter and more.
