The Garmin Nuvi 750 is a mid-line GPS tool that has been equipped with essential navigation features and has been given a more sleek design. Preloaded on the Nuvi 750 is City Navigator street maps along with millions of POI’s (points of interest) which are all controlled through touch screen commands. This model does utilize voice prompts when directing the driver to their destination, but it also displays a 3-D map on its 4.3” WQVGA colour TFT with white backlight. The built-in memory is solid state while it may also accept SD data cards, allowing for the more maps to be added if need be. The Nuvi 750 also doubles as an entertainment tool, with MP3 Playback, JPEG picture viewing and FM transmitter. The battery life, though rechargeable, is 5 hours, and the unit weighs 6.2 ounces. Lastly, for security purposes, an anti-theft feature using Garmin Lock protects the Nuvi 750 along with the location of the auto in the event of it being stolen.
