It is powered by a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom processor with a Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 graphics card for smooth video performance and a Intel 945 Express Chipset with Generation 3.5 Intel Integrated Graphics Engine for enhanced graphics. It comes standard with 1 GB of DDR2 533MHz RAM and 160GB of hard drive space. The 10.1" high-brightness LED-backlit display delivers a 1024x600 viewing experience and integrated webcam allows for easy web-chatting or taking self-portraits. The multi-gesture touchpad lets you control programs with a flick, swirl and pinch of your fingers and the multi-in-on media card reader supports a variety of digital media storage formats. It has integrated 802.11b/g Wireless and is Wi-Fi certified for easy wireless connectivity. It comes with a Genuine Windows XP operating system, the latest version of Microsoft Works and a 60-day trial of the Office 2007 suite. The Gateway LT2001u is available in a stylish high-polish finish in nightsky black or cherry red. The Gateway LT2021u is also available as a variation of the LT2001u.
