The Gateway NV7802u is an affordable, high-performance notebook released in October 2009 alongside the Windows 7 operating system. It features an Intel Core 2 Duo processor (2.2GHz), up to 4GB of RAM, and a 500GB SATA hard-disc drive. It’s especially built for taking part in widescreen cinematic entertainment, as it hosts a rather large 17.3” high-definition LED-backlit display that can handle 1600x900 resolution video content. Included also are a high-powered Intel Graphics Media Accelerator and Dolby Soon Room technology. These deliver DVD, YouTube, and/or flash-drive content in its original audio and video formats — with drastically reduced interference and noise. Additional features include a Kensington lock for enhanced security, a built-in DVD player, and an HDMI interface.
