Gateway SX2300-01u

$520.00 Released January, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Small and light weight, ideal if you need to carry it from one venue to another. Can run dual monitors smoothly without any additional hardware. TV tuner does a good job finding all the available channels, and works fast enough to make channel flipping easy.

The Cons:HDMI and VGA connectors are very close, difficult to use both at once as the plugs interfere with one another. Doesn't have much room inside to upgrade for the future. Heats up and the fan gets pretty noisy and distracting.

Unlike advanced company models that focus on computer gaming, the Gateway SX2300-01u is a desktop that's built around general entertainment. Along with a 2.2GHz AMD Phenom X3 processor, the desktop has 4GB RAM and a 320GB hard drive that's ideal for viewing movies with the NVIDIA GeForce 8200 graphics.
