The SX2850-01 is an entry-level desktop PC from Gateway. Based on the Intel i3 platform, this computer comes with fast DDR3 memory, a large capacity hard drive, Intel graphics and built-in wireless networking.

The Gateway SX2850-01 includes a dual core processor at 3.0 GHz, 4 GB of DDR3 memory and an eco-friendly 1 TB hard drive. Basic graphics acceleration is provided by Intel, however users can upgrade with the available PCI-E x16 slot. Other features include a gigabit Ethernet and 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi plus 5.1 surround sound. A “digital device holder” is built into the case design to safely display accessories such as digital cameras or camcorders. Users looking for a compact, Intel-based PC should find this machine more than acceptable.
