The GE 28861FE2 is an expandable, corded/cordless phone system consisting of one corded phone unit and one cordless handset (+base). Unique about this system is that it can survive power outages; the corded unit continues to function. Plus, the system hosts both Caller ID, and Call-Waiting. It utilizes DECT 6.0 Technology to transmit to the cordless handset with enhanced range, sound-quality, and security. Additional features of the GE 28861FE2 include remote message retrieval from another location via dial-in, a base speakerphone, and desk- and wall-mountability.
