The GE 28861FE2 is an expandable, corded/cordless phone system consisting of one corded phone unit and one cordless handset (+base). A step up from the 28861FE2, this system adds along a Digital Answering Machine, while maintaining its predecessor’s Caller ID and Call-Waiting. Like its peer, it utilizes DECT 6.0 Technology to transmit to the cordless handset with enhanced range, sound-quality, and security. Additional features of the GE 28871FE2 include remote message retrieval from another location via dial-in, a base speakerphone, and desk- and wall-mountability.
