The GE E1055W camera is essentially the same as its sister products, except for the essential addition that it is does not have a 720p movie mode like the GE E1050TW. It comes with features that are standard in most digital cameras: face, smile and blink detection, 14 scene modes, image stabilisation, in camera red eye removal, in camera panorama mode, and auto-adjust brightness. The GE E1055W camera has an all glass aspheric 28 mm wide-angle lens, which ends up being the equivalent of the standard 35mm camera lens. It is able to display HD pictures directly on its 3.0" LCD touch screen. It has a 5x optical zoom and can handle 10.1 megapixels.
