The GE E1480W is a 14.1 megapixel, 8x optical zoom compact digital camera and part of GE's Power Series released in February 2010. These are available in black, red and silver with a 3 inch 230/400 pixel TFT-LCD display and a sleek aluminum chassis only 0.83 inches thick.

Outputs include USB, AV and HDMI for viewing HD pictures on a tv. The camera comes with a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery, charger, av cable and usb cables are also included, as well as Arcsoft Photo Impression 6 software. Some common features include face and smile detection, blink detection, red-eye removal, auto-scene detection and pan-capture mode that lets you create wide-view panoramic pictures. Image stabilization helps reduce blur caused by vibration while ISO sensitivity can reach 3200 for shooting in a wide range of low or high light situations. Removable SD/SDHC cards may be used with a maximum of 16GB for storing and transferring files from the camera.
