"my TX-SR875 , display is gone, I have press the Display button no change in "Display", lol. I would just assme it has gone out but my wife may have pushed some sequence of buttons...haha. Everything works fine and I see the info on the TV screen but nothing on the unit itself. Mu question: is more

It is possible to turn off the HDMI output of the receiver from the front panel using the pure audio button to the far left of your input select buttons on the front panel as well as from within the onscreen menus. If nothing else, you can unplug the receiver for about a minute or use the reset to default feature to start over again.
