The Giant TCR Advanced 1 is a compact and sturdy road/racing bike featuring a lightweight frame that doesn’t necessarily sparkle in the sun, but does deliver the precision needed for moving swiftly with control. It is the top unit in the TCR Advanced line and improves over its predecessors by adding along a superior SRAM Force drivetrain with improved shift levers, front/rear derailleurs, and a 1070 cassette. Included also is a SRAM GXP bottom bracket and a lighter Mavic Ksyrium SL wheelset. Overall, the Advanced 1 provides the most durability and control in the series, but is ultimately an entry-level bike. Its affordability and superior components do make it an optimal choice for budget-conscious racers.
