The Giant TCR Alliance 0 is a racing on-road bike with a frame made of half carbon, half aluminum. It is a unique bike since most bike manufacturers have all-carbon or all-aluminum frames, with the former being touted more. However, with such a unique combination, the TCR Alliance 0 offers the best characteristics of each material. The goal is to improve the ride comfort of an aluminum frame without the costs associated with full carbon. The TCR Alliance 0 sets new benchmarks for stiffness, handling and ride quality, and because of the way it combines these attributes; the right stiffness in the right places creates a crisp, responsive feel. The TCR Alliance 0 has fast reflexes (its geometry is identical to the Advanced SL) and a low front end (if you prefer—it comes with a healthy spacer stack). It is available in two colors, Team Blue and Composite.
