Haven't seen "30 days of night" but did hear a lot about it. However, Josh is definitely better as a movie actor than a stage actor. This doesn't mean he is a brill movie actor at all ;)

And you are right when it comes to the fact that even talented actors can't make a bad movie good. BUT: bad actors can make bad movies even worse ... I just think about "Glitter" with Mariah Carey (bless her!)

I don't think Daniel is that bad. Ok, he is probably not the best actor ever and he will never recieve an Oscar for his role as HP but he is pretty good on the stage. I heard a lot of people that were impressed by his performance in London (currently in NYC) and he seems to be a better actor on stage than in movies. Maybe he discovered his talent just after he signed the contract for 7 HP movies.

Some actors are similar, e.g. Josh Hartnet. He is a brilliant actor in movies (love him in Pearl Harbour and Black Hawke Down) but his stage performances are poor. I've seen him in Rain Man and was a bit disappointed though. I think he should consider to go back to LA and work with American movie producers instead of English stage directors.

how old is the broken power cord? Is it still on guarantee so you shouldn't pay for it. However, there must be an email adress in the manual where you can contact them first. Their customer service will send you further information.

Good concept of Nintendo though :)

The Wii is Christmas pressi No. 1 this year (again). I know lots and lots of people who already have one and there are even more who want to buy one. I actually prefer the new packages you can buy now with lots of games, remote controlls, extra nun chucks etc.... bargains everywhere you look....

I am looking forward to see the results for Top Product 2008. When can we see them (or are they already published)?

I've seen all the HP movies and I am actually not keen on them. I love the books and the whole fantasy stuff there but the movies are not my cup of tea. Maybe because everybody imagines the world of Harry and Dumbledor in a different way and this is why I was disappointed after I watched the movie. Does that make sense?

I made the Wii Fit to my most favourite of 2008. Simply because it's something completely new and promises girls to lose weight by haveing fun with a game console instead of sweating in the gym. What else does a young women want?

I found the Koss KSC75 for £9 at amazon. A bargain! I will give them a try though. 150$ are a bit too much for me but I am sure they are good.

And: I don't think stuff in the UK is much more expensive than in the US :)

I use the ear phones that came with my Sony mp3 player and I found them on amazon for £3 (means they are crap). I just use ear/ head phones in the office and therefore a quiet surounding. But I broke my ear phones yesterday (and is it possible that you can get a small electric shock through ear phones that are just connected to you mp3 player???) and need new ones now. Still can't bother to spend so much money. My limit is about £20 (30$)...

I quite liked the small different storylines and the single jokes of "Burn After Reading" but as I already said, the ending.... Thanks for the effort you made to explain it to me, maybe it's just cool to watch it again and then have a closer look on all the stuff (like the file they close at the end).

The last movie I've seen is "Burn after Reading" with georgeous George and beau Brad. It was another movie that showed me that stunning actors are not always making brilliant movies. I was disappionted at the end (when one can call it an end). The movie stopped in the middle of the action and I didn't get the point of the whole story. So what is it about the "Burn after Reading"? Has anybody seen the movie, can agree/disagree with me or simply explain me the sense of the ending?

I recently bought the new mascara from L'Oreal with collagen. The biggest bullsh*t if ever bought! It feels good when applying it but even if you touch your lashes a bit or take a nap they transform to ONE big lash which looks shit and shouldn't happen with a £10 mascara.

Hey,

I am 5'8" and really tiny. I have long legs and I usually need jeans with an inseam of 34". They have to be very slim because I only have size 26 around my waste. I am always searching for new brands because I never found the perfect one. My last jeans were from Killah and cost me a fortune (£120). I tried to wear Zara or H&M but they all end above my ankle. Nice for the summer but I don't prefer them for winter :(

The Apple MacBook has a Screen Resolution of 1280x800 and the Sony Vaio 1660x900. Score fore Sony....

but personally I would prefer the Apple MacBook, sorry :)

Hm, dedicated ironing space - not really. But we have a spare room in the flat left now and I use it for doing my laundry. When somebody will move in someday I have to move back to my room which is pretty small and no pleasure any more.

ME TOO! ... I love doing the laundry and iron my clothes because I think it's kind of THERAPEUTIC for me :) Aw, sounds weird, I know. But anyway, I love to do it. However, wipe away the dust from my cupboard bores me; this is more a burden than a pleasure :( I discovered the Swiffer Dusters which help me with this frustrating task but I still have no fun by doing it....

I am sure Cameron wasn't aware of what was printed on her bag otherwise she wouldn't have wear it. Just a stupid misstake which could be avoided though.

To be honest when I go abroad and I don't speakt the language of the country; I am NOT less careless than Cameron. And chinese is not a common language that you could maybe understand or trying to read. So I don't blame her for doing this terrible misstake especially because she apologised.

I read a few reviews on several LCD TV's to find the best one for good-value but also with excellent quality. I reached the conclusion that the Panasonic Viera TX-32LZD80F must be the one. It fulfills pretty much all reqirements and £550 for a LCD TV is not bad. With a screen size of 32" it's not made for a proper cinema feeling but instead of this it guarantees a sharp picture. The reviews show a 9 out of 10 and therefore I would suggest the Pana.

I would agree with Bodin - I really love my macbook but it was really expensive. I got it as a birthday present from my grandparents because i could never afford it on my own.

What do you think about a Toshiba Equium P300-16T ? It has everything you need for uni and its "just" £400. So you don't have to be in the red (I know how to struggle with money because I am a student too)
