Gödel, Escher, Bach: An Eternal Golden Braid

A Pulitzer Prize-winning book by Douglas Hofstadter, published in 1979 by Basic Books examining the complex concept of "strange loops" and how they relate to the three greats mentioned in the title. Gödel's incompleteness theorem is central to the theme of the book. While many chapters can be challenging for those that aren't mathematically minded, it offers interesting insights into to concept of paradox.
