I use it mostly for wifi access but also for dvd playing. All in all, a great machine for the money. But beware: You cannot play Netflix rentals using the media hardware/software Dell calls MediaDirect. Big drawback as far as I'm concerned. No sympathy from Dell. No fix as yet on the web. When something so simple is unavailable on a new machine, something is wrong. Hence, beware.
