Gran Turismo 5 is latest installment to the super popular Gran Turismo franchise. GT5 is the first main installment of the GT franchise for the Playstation 3 with the GT5 Prologue and GT:HD games acting more as tech demos than anything. Polyphony Digital has raised their standards with GT5 and introduced many new gameplay enhancements over the previous GT4. Most notably is the expanded online options, vastly upgraded graphics, interior cockpits, and simulated damage. Many of these features have already been introduced with GT5 Prologue, and will simply be expanded and more fully implemented in the full version of the game.

- Gorgeous graphics (significant upgrade over Forza 2)
- improved damage physics, cars can roll over now
- built-in replay video editor and uploading to the net
Cons
- rewind doesn't work at the beginning and end of races for some reason
- loading times are just long enough to be somewhat annoying
- force-feedback on the wheel isn't as strong as in other games

- Phenomenal graphics
- Meticulous attention to car detail
- Lighting model that makes cars look photorealistic
- Huge number of cars
- Collisions have more realistic results than previous GT games
Cons
- Confusing information on what cars support which features (full damage, etc)
- AI looks to be as stupid as ever
- Lack of player created items (tuning, paint jobs, etc)
