The Griffin RoadTrip with SmartScan is a charger/transmitter for iPods & iPhones. It picks up music from an iPod/iPhone and then transmits it to a car’s dash unit. Plus, it charges the player as the user listens to music. Unique about this unit is its flexible steel neck and interchangeable iPod & iPhone model-specific cradles, which hold the player/phone in a tight grip; it removes any chance that the unit will fall to the floor.
