"I ended up getting a Razer Diamondback myself and I love it - gotta update to the new drivers though which was a hassle. the new drivers and utility app didnt update the old one, it just installed along side and it took me all evening to figure out why my mouse software wasnt updating because the old software took precedence. Other then that one issue I love my Razer mouse, but I'd say the Logitech one would fill my needs as well. I've been a logitech fan for some time, got great speakers from them on my main PC at the moment, so I'd be confident in trying out this mouse for the second gaming machine in the house."

"Hmm, so its out - I'm going to see if someone will buy it for me for my birthday in the next week :D It does sound like I'm going to agree with Omar and Yale - sort of thought that before it came out that it was likely to be novel but not very playable - but I'd like to see for myself."

"I have the Razer Diamondback, which is of course both left and right handed, and I find it plenty comfortable - but had this been on the market when I got my mouse I probably would have gone for a right handed version over the regular universal one. It took a while to get used to the neutral design and was uncomfortable at first."

I played RO and FFXI before WoW as faras MMOs... I tried out some Lineage and EQ but really didnt get very far - was too busy playing other games.

"Gotta echo Omar's opinion - the super powered weapons are an annoying game mechanic. I've got a lot of much more serious racing game experience under my belt, so I found that when playing with the wiimote + nunchuck I did get way in front most of the time and won easily, unless i got pushed way back early on. The steering wheel is novel, but thats about it - its not a good way to play the game. Atleast these are my impressions having gotten to play for an hour or two twice now..,. (friends "wanted to play another game" - because I won pretty much every race against him easily - and that was with the gamecube controller.)"

"It has a few issues - but I've been using it a long time now and I really enjoy it. Even the data on what you listen to and how often makes it worthwhile - and some good communities on there on top of the whole finding new artists thing. I find its best to check out people with similar taste to you then try out top artists they listen to that you haven't heard of."

"Does sound like a great game, but I don't own a system so I'm just gonna wait on PC version. Pains me to see these games come out on console first. Especially from a company that used to make PC games primarily, and then totally turned their back on the PC market. Personally I HATE using gamepads to play first or third person shooter/adventure games. Feels like .... trying to think of a good comparison .... trying to eat soup with chopsticks. Not the best - but either way, point is: wrong tool for the job. People tell me you can use a KB and mouse with the new systems though. Anyone comment on this re: GTA4?"

"yeah I have photoshop on my main PC for work - then my laptop sports GIMP for a bit of image editing on the go when needed. Actually, right now my secondary work computer is running CS2 - my main work computer had CS3 until I (stupidly) thought it might be interesting to try the windows file and folder compression... CS3 no longer runs, none of the apps will open any file, I cleared it out repeatedly and installed again to no avail. Gonna have to reformat this weekend :/"
