The GT-Phone 2 is the only model offered by GT-PHONE services, based in Europe, and the 2 denotes that it is version 2.0 of their GT-Phone. It is supposed to be a mid-range 2G handset, and is quad-band receptive. It has a 16 million color screen and 300-entry phonebook. It also has an email client and Internet browsing over WAP 2.0. Its entertainment features include an mp3/mpeg4 player, as well as 2.0-megapixel digital camera. On-board memory is 128MB, and this can be expanded by using a T-Flash card up to 2GB. The GT-Phone is designed specially for long-distance calling and works with GT's cellular services. It is supposed to work with any SIM card, but re-routes long-distance calls from the local service provider to GT's network. The phone includes a designated key for this feature. Battery life is typically 6 hours of talk time per charge.
