The HAI Convertable Professional Ceramic Pressing Iron uses coated ceramic heat panels to protect hair from some of the worse heat damage. The plates are sapphire ceramic and are claimed to be unmatched for equal heat distribution. It uses infra-red heat technology to seal in the hair's moisture and has a faster heat-up time than normal coil straightening irons. It only takes 25 seconds after it is turned on for it to reach the desired temperature. The temperature settings range from 170 degrees fahrenheit all the way up to 390 degrees fahrenheit. The 1-1/4" width is perfect for short to medium length hair. The HAI Convertable Professional Ceramic Pressing Iron comes with a one year limited warranty.
