Harman/Kardon AVR 154

$399.00 Released January, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Acoustic and electronic based music are both rendered in high detail and brightness. Dynamic power output is enough to run high-resistance speakers and fill a room. Clearly represents the full audio spectrum with low distortion.

The Cons:Does not convert video up to 1080p as seen in the Harman/Kardon AVR 254. Video inputs must be consistent with the output, no conversion between formats. Power per channel is lower than many mid-range systems and almost all higher end systems.

The Harman/Kardon AVR 154 is a 5.1-Channel A/V Receiver with HDMI V1.3a switching. It has a Stereo mode power of 40W per channel, and Multichannel power of 30W x 5 Channels. It features Dolby Digital, Pro Logic II, and Dolby Virtual Speakers.
