Hauppauge Hybrid Video Receiver/Recorder (HVR) is a product line capable of receiving both Analog and High Def TV signals in North America or Europe. Card interfaces are provided in USB (2.0 only) PCI, PCI Express and ExpressCard/54. Tuners are Hybrid, one tuner for both Digital and Analog or Dual, one tuner for Digital and one for Analog. Features such as input, video filters, remotes and encoders vary by product selection. Hauppauge HVR's offer the widest range of interfaces and features for hybrid TV on the computer.
