Hifonics Zeus ZXi 683

The Hifonics Zeus ZXi 683 is a three-way speaker built from a lightweight titanium-ceramic composite cone produced to output quality, rigid bass signals. The fifth speaker in the Hifonics Zeus series, the ZXi 683 ditches the circular frame of past models for a 6"x8" oval frame instead. In addition, the ZXi 683 offers a slightly weaker peak power handling (425w versus 500w) and nominal power handling (85w versus 100w) than its circular predecessor, the ZXi 6.5C. The ZXi 683, however, supports a superior frequency of 43Hz-24kHz (versus 56Hz-25kHz). The ZXi 683 also comes equipped with a 12mm Neodymium silk multi-mount swivel-enabled tweeter, a 360 radial cooled motor structure, and low-profile anti-resonant MaxxFitt titanium-chromed speaker frames. The Hifonics Zeus ZXi 683 is priced at $48.99, $11 less than the $59.99 ZXi 6.5C.
