High Fidelity tells the story of a grown man (played by John Cusack) who refuses to grow up. He tells the story of his various relationships and subsequent breakups, all the while accompanied by a soundtrack of hugely popular and insanely catchy pop songs. Each song represents different things and Cusack takes you through the various meanings and meanderings of a 30-something adult who can't seem to break out of adolescence.
