I have had this TV for almost a year and love it. I bought a 55" Hitachi Ultravision back in 1998 and never had any problems with it so that's why I went with Hitachi again when I wanted to "upgrade" to HD, and I still use the 55" in my basement. The only dislike if you could call it that with the 70VS810 is I wish it had more HD inputs. I have my cable going into one and my DVD going into the other. So now I am out of HD inputs. I have a DVD burner I also have added and have no HD input to plug it into. Also now with the new gaming consoles (PS3, X-Box 360) I have again have no extra input for these. I know I can easily make up for this by running all of my video through my surround sound receiver but I bought this TV for HD so give me HD connections on all inputs. I know this TV is no longer available but I would easily recommend to anyone to check out Hitachi when you are looking to buy.
