Hitachi's CinemaStar 7K1000.B is an updated model of the company's successful 7200 RPM terabyte HDD series and features a range of storage options from 160 gigabytes (GB) to 1 terabyte (TB) of storage. The CinemaStar 7K1000.B uses HiVERT technology to increase power efficiency and lower thermal emissions for cooler usage and longer product life. The HDD is equipped with silent-seek acoustics for quiet operation, Hitachi's load/unload ramp mechanism to prevent disk wear and perpendicular magnetic recording (PMR) technology for reliability, stability and data integrity.
