The hard drive is designed to provide the standard performance and efficiency suitable for desktop computers, gaming, and industrial automation applications. It is available in capacities of 80GB and 160GB and utilizes a 3Gb/s SATA or PATA-133 interface. It includes a 8MB cache buffer for fast data processing and offers numerous reliability features such as ECC and CRC protection and an internal thermal sensor. The Deskstar 7K160 comes with a 3 year limited warranty.
