The Hitachi DZBD9H is a high definition, hybrid camcorder. Able to record at full 1080p the DZBD9H outputs AVC/H.264 codec, a variant of MPEG-4 directly to either an internal 60GB HDD or directly onto a Blu-ray disc. The DZBD9H features almost all of the same specifications as the last generation models. The DZBD9H includes a new and improved 5.3MP CCD with new image processing hardware to correct less-than-ideal image quality on their previous generation, as well as a new brighter 2.7-inch LCD screen. The 60GB drive is also double the size of the earlier HDD model, bringing the total recording time up to 9 hours at full HD resolution.
