Hivision PWS700CA
Released May, 2010
The Pros:Great form factor for a mobile internet device - tiny size, weighs under 1.5 pounds. Will cost under $100. Runs Android, compatible with any type of Linux OS.
The Cons:7" display with a measly 800×480px resolution. ARM-based - cannot run Windows. Based on a rather slow Rockchip RK2808 600mhz ARM926 processor.
The Hivision PWS700CA is a Google-Android-based netbook designed by Hivision as a functional solution for customers seeking an ultra-cheap laptop. It features the Google Android operating system, which many critics find especially appealing because apparently, the more commonly found Windows CE OS isn’t nearly as web-browsing friendly.

Also appealing is the wide-range of features on the PWS700CA, such as a 7” WVGA display, integrated WiFi connectivity, SD memory card expansion, and full support for 720p video content. As of February 2009, the netbook has not yet been released, but it is expected to retail soon for under 100.00 USD.
