Pros
  • Amazing sound and best bang for the buck. I researched quite a bit and drove around listening to many other HTIB's before purchasing. This system produces such high quality sound and has plenty of decoding abilities. It sounds amazing with PS3 and XBOX360 gaming. Just make sure PS3 is set to bitstream if you use an optical cable for audio. Have fun!

  • Front Speaker size little too big for an average Living room
  • Does not decode the higher end sound such as DOLBY TRUEHD or DTS HD etc etc, but for the price, who cares! You'll barely notice the difference anyways. Also, the rear speaker wires are about 28ft so you may want to grab some extra wire for advanced installation.
  • System doesn't work well on Manual Audio setting

  • The DVD may upscale to 1080p but you can't experience that without buying an HDMI cable as Samsung do not include one in the box.
  • The rear speakers are not truly wireless as implied by the image of the system on the Samsung website. There are wires connecting the rear speakers to the bluetooth receiver box.
  • Using an iPod (4th Gen) in the dock is annoying. All songs on albums are played in alphabetical, not track, order. Can't find a fix for this, so just plugging in with phono cables is better.
